ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 33 WCF. S# 157092. Bbl 24" tapered rnd. Ramp mounted Lyman replacement white bead front sight, filler and rear dovetail with a Redfield receiver sight. Half length takedown mag. Forearm and straight grip walnut stock with hard rubber shotgun butt. Mfg. 1920. CONDITION: bbl retains 70% lightly worn blue. Action has largely faded to gray showing small spots of pitting. Wood has dark worn finish showing numerous scratches, marks and dents. Sound mechanics. Bright bore with strong rifling. PROVENANCE: Estate of Groves Herrick. (25-5711/DS). CURIO. $1,200-1,800.
